Charissa Thompson was born on April 4, 1982 in Seattle Washington United States is one of America's best known and wealthiest Sportscasters. ESPN analyst was hired as co-host of SportsNation in 2012. She hosted the ABC show Splash along with Joey Lawrence. Thompson is from Seattle Washington. Since her early years she knew that her dream job was to be a broadcaster. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School at Kenmore Washington. Thompson went to California for community college to gain California residency. Thompson was admitted to University of California Santa Barbara in the following year, earning an associate's degree. in Law and Society in 2004. Thompson states that, in spite of what Sports Illustrated said about her decision to leave Washington State for the community college of California after which she transferred to UC Santa Barbara she never went to WSU. Thompson was offered by Sports Illustrated to do body painting for their Swimsuit issue before beginning her broadcasting career.
